Run-of-river plants

The term 'Run-of-river plants' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' The regulated inflow of one powerplant is equal to the outflow from a powerplant upstream. A hydroelectric powerplant using the flow of a stream as it occurs and having little or no reservoir capacity for storage or regulation'.
